Bespoke extension for a growing family.
Bespoke extension for a growing family. Building extensions to blend in with a period property, creates a clean slate to incorporate all that is needed.
Our needs change over the years. When we move into a house, we do not always think of the requirements needed in the future. Building an extension can be a great solution. Planning what you want out of the new space is the first important stage. Think of the things the existing space has not got in ie storage, cooking and seating. Once a list is created, it is easier for the designer to incorporate all your wishes when planning the build and the interiors. This client requested storage, ease of cooking space and a place they can share and entertain in. Using the island unit to separate the kitchen from the living space, we have provided great seating for breakfast, coffee or a glass of wine. The sink and cooking appliances are easy to hand and the large Sub Zero refrigeration is perfect for the food storage. The soft colour palette is calm and tranquil, using the baby blue tiles in a curvy shape giving additional interest to the scheme. The dining area has a bespoke table and chairs with a cabinet that holds cutlery, plates and serving utensils. This piece of furniture compliments the kitchen using the same veneers creating a theme through out the room.
