This blog is a hard and emotional one to write.
It is with a sad and heavy heart we have to announce the sad and untimely death of our dear friend and colleague Jamie Hempsall.
For those of you who know Martin and I either personally or through the company, you will know we strive to get great people around us, either with our team designing and manufacturing, with collaboration to support clients or to inspire us. Rarely do you meet someone that was all three. Jamie was this person. We have worked together for over half of Chiselwood’s life and it has been an honour and privilege.
Jamie had a distinct style and was mindful and sympathetic to our designs when working with us.
It is true to say that whenever Jamie, Martin and The team worked on a project, we knew it would be one we could feature as “standing out from the crowd”. We can still use many images of projects finished many years ago, knowing they will be well received. We will continue to do so.
We are grateful you were such a big part of our lives. The ups, downs, panics when things didn’t go to plan, laughs when solutions were found, will forever be in our memories. Thank you Jamie for being part of the Chiselwood family, you will always continue to inspire us.
